The Day of the Dead is celebrated throughout Mexico annually in late October or early November. Friends and families gather to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have died. People enjoy this public holiday with building private alters, visiting graves and honoring the deceased with sugar skulls, flowers, favorite foods and special Day of the Dead Decorations such as the Day of the Dead Frida Kahlo Shadow Boxes.
