The Vitruvian Man, one of Leonardo Da Vinci’s great works made the cover of this Book Box! The image of a the man in these two superimposed positions with his arms and legs out inside a square, then the circle, shows how deeply Da Vinci understood proportion, and was an attempt to relate man and nature. The Vitruvian Man gets it’s name from the architect Vitruvius, whose notes accompany the artwork.
