These candles are hand crafted using traditional methods in a small community in South Africa. Solid, fully refined paraffin wax candle is handed painted, then dipped in wax to seal in the unique design. South African Candles are made with a water based paint which evaporates as the candle burns and a high quality cotton wick.
Designs are coordinated into colorful pairs of tapers. However, no two hand made candles are exactly alike. Candles burn for approximately 6-8 hours. Wicks are 100% cotton and completely lead free. Do not leave candles unattended while burning.
